Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Road to Tekken Lord Achievement

Namco-Bandai made this game and it hasn't fell off the radar unlike that of SoulCalibur V and other Namco titles.  Anyway unlike Tekken 6 they made this game practically force you to play the game.  For one to gain the cool looking custom items (like King's fur suit or Law's old costume). You have to play through Ghost Battle a lot and win.  Its insane sometimes as the AI will just straight up punish everything you throw out.  Other times you'll breeze through easily.

Ranking up to 30th Dan rank (Tekken Lord) took forever.  At first I started using a team but I discovered it was taking twice as long to rank up as only 1 character would get a promotion/demotion chance. There's also the fact that Tagging out or performing a Tag Crash is a pain without dying.  Eventually I went solo and used Unknown the whole way.

Shame she doesn't have that cool ghost wolf thing behind her. I thought that was awesome. Anyway Unknown is now generally Jun Kazama with a few move changes.  I found her style very simple to adapt and  I generally just worked off 1 combo and tried to improve it slowly.  Its basically all I need for most fighters anyway. Just give me a doable combo to work with and I'll go from there.

Assuming I typed this out right. Generally throughout this run I make the same combo.  F+2(or D 3+4, DF+2,1, B+2, 1, 2(3), 1(or 2)
{hopefully I wrote that out right}
That combo itself knocks the opponent quite a bit away.  An easy follow up with UF+2,1(or 2) or 1+2.
1+2 Forces a tag out if it hits. UF+2,1(or 2) is a nice keep away. You have to be smart to avoid/block it. AI well only smart at random times.  But I have seen the AI pull some crazy combos.  So I don't count them out I also don't count them as some OP Super Computer that impossible to beat cause they apparently read your buttons.  I've picked up a lot from the AI especially on my own problems in this game.

I still need to work out the situations as to what to do when I get Wall Combo Opportunities, Balcony Breaks, Floor Breaks, etc.  My Defense well recovery needs work as well. Its not something someone can just instantly tell me what I should do its more I need to recognize when it happens and react accordingly.

Dust To Dust In a Good Way (Dust: An Elysian Tale)

I didn't want to write a thing till I finished this game cause its that good.  Honestly this is one of THE BEST GAMES I'VE EVER PLAYED IN A VERY LONG TIME! This is one of those cases where I wish the game was on disc with tons more content available cause its that good. Even with its few problems Its still THE BEST GAMES I'VE EVER PLAYED IN A VERY LONG TIME!  Seriously I didn't want this to end.

Graphics & Sound

These are 2 things I NEVER consider in a game. But the graphics for a 2D game are very notable.  The handling of multiple things moving at once is very exceptional. Even the transition to cutscenes and weather effects were done right.  At first I started thinking that the rain was started due to a cue of some kind cause of the cutscenes. But its actually on an interval.  Even the Wind effects when using your special attacks are there. Character design is great as well. No I'm not saying that cause I'm a furry. They are done very well done and very unique.

The Soundtracks are awesome. They aren't too over the top and not too boring. They easily set the mood. The voice work is amazing. Even for a bunch of Voice actors I never even heard of before. They are all very unique done with great detail. Listening to those guys I could sit there for hours listening to them talk. Not once did I think about playing another soundtrack or walk out the room to grab a sandwich while they talk. I commend the creators of this game for that. This to me proves you don't need famous Voice Actors (example: Johnny Bosch, Wendee Lee, etc.) to make great voice work.  And those guys probably are famous or well known but in my circle of friends they are not recognized.

Story

Although the game is short it has a great amount of story.  It may have been done before with the plot but these days what hasn't been done?  The setup of sidequest, plot twist, and main story to me was done like a book I couldn't put down.  I had to stop myself from continuing so I could upload more parts and get other things done. All the characters are very memorable and stand out from each other.  Dust character development had a great amount of depth to it leading up to making many hard choices.  The dialogue between characters had the right amount of comedy and seriousness to keep you in your seat and not groan over it.  The game made it seem like my choices would actually affect the ending as well.  The comedy in this game is great as well.  From breaking the 4th Wall to stating the obvious.  Makes me want to have a Fidget of my own.

Gameplay

Ok in terms of gameplay its rather simplistic. There's not too many combos but this case simplicity is a virtue.   The combat was still engaging and even challenging at some points.  Boss fights were great to fight against. I practically wished for a Boss Rush Mode and extra challenges.  Platforming is easy to pull off no complaints of I can't win cause the camera is bad nonsense.  My only issue here is the game can be easily broken.  By simply doing some treasure hunting or grinding you're able to make most enemies a complete joke. So much so I opted out of using my best weapons to give the boss a chance.  If you want a true challenge throw the game on Hardcore setting.  Normal and Casual settings make the game a breeze.

I only ended up encountering 1 Glitch that I have no idea what triggered it. It never happened again however. There are other players that have found other glitches like going outside the boundary of map And infinite gold but it seems those are more intentional glitches rather than accidental.

Overall For What this cost. (1600 MS Points).  I feel it should cost way more than that.  This game is very well done.  I've had no problems with it and I want to play it again and again.  If anything the only improvements they could do is make Dust a little less broken.  This is one of the games I truly hope a sequel is made or DLC content cause I enjoyed this.  I honestly haven't played a game that has me coming back for more in years.

Pokemon Black 2 - Post Game

There's a ton of stuff post game but I'll just go over the stuff ppl actually care about. The battles. Oh so many battles.  Did I search Relic Cavern? No, no point to it.  Just extra money to be found. And get Dive as a semi-useful move.  Eventually as I dragged on in this game I started sending pokemon from my Vanillia Black game (Original Pokemon Black) over to Black 2. If you actually been reading I said before my pokemon's IV's were dismal.  And honestly in the long run they weren't going to survive.  I'd Pokegen but its such a pain now. Especially since Game Freak and Nintendo wise'd up a bit on this issue.  But honestly the IV's of my Pokemon are very dismal except for a few.  Eventually I'll probably send over all my pokemon from Black to this game.

Legendary Pokemon

It honestly feels like there was a ton more on HG and SS (Heart Gold And Soul Silver) to catch. But these guys were pretty much rage till they stay in the ball or screw it and throw a master ball.

Zekrom -  First I had to battle it. ANd shamefully I couldn't recreate Reshiram vs Zekrom.  Oh well.  Then catching it that wasn't hard at all.

Kyurem - Also easy seems the mainsteam legendaries are pretty easy to do these days anyway.

Cresselia - So many times it died due to stupid things.  Finally caught it after about 15 attempts.

Regi's - Regi's are strangely easy.  They all seem to have the same moveset as well.

Regigigas - Had to move fast so I catch it before it got to full power.

Latias - Easy since its moveset rather meh. Heck didn't know Heal Pulse is meant to heal another target. lol

Heatran - Yep.

Azelf/Mesprit/Uxie - Did not like going all over the world to find them and try not to kill them....

Legenadry Trainers

I turned on Challenge Mode. And these pokemon levels shot up by at the most 10 levels.  Pretty good for a challenge mode.  Annoying though at certain points.

Alder -  Such an even match.  I love it.

Hugh - Finally you have 6 pokemon.  Thank you.

Cheren - I'm a bit overleveled here.

Bianca - Didn't expect her to show up here so suddenly.

Shadow Triad - They used that PP Up for bait. They knew I was gonna walk there to get it.  Those sneaky ninjas.

Colress - So much fun.  The next champion should be steel type.

N - I only fought him in the summer and doubt I'll do so again next month.  Waiting a month or changing the date on my DS is way too much work not worth it. N loves those weather teams though.

Morimoto - This guy really thought out his team.

Nishino - Fat pokemon....and YAWN SPAM AGAIN!!!

Cynthia - My team made to combat hers.

E4 Again -  It wasn't as bad as Vanilla where they had 1 pokemon do all the work for them but they do provide a challenge.

Champion Iris - Ok when you take down my Venusaur we got a problem.  3 Dragons.  Still surprised she didn't run all dragons.

Benga - Haven't fought yet. Gotta climb that long tower.

February - My Emotional Rollercoaster

I have a hard time dealing with myself these days.  I have a hard time sticking around online. A hard time sleeping. A hard time doing any hobby. And I've tried for well over 2 months to get over it.  No real success.  It seems old wounds run deep for me. I've tried leaving then come back. I just end up having flashbacks of what happened back in those days.  I envy those that can just write off everything as, "Oh well that person is stupid." I'm just not that way.

I have a hard time controlling my thoughts and honestly I just wish I could end it all.  I don't even have the will to do that. I hate this feeling. Its worse cause I fight off thoughts of hurting others.  I know I shouldn't be this way but its hard to get over this especially when I end up dragged back down. I know I keep being told, "hey get over it. blah blah blah." I try and get over it then something just comes up and I can't leave it like I want to. I want to but the those old memories just keep ringing through my head when I try to play games.

Sorry to be spamming my feelings and whining about stuff you don't care about.  I can't tell you what exactly I'm playing through cause even I don't know any more.  I can't really think straight and there's very few things keeping me happy. Sorry to have wasted your time with this.
