2017 Changes Abound Everywhere

So while the US is going crazy over politics. My family is cracking jokes that can drive anyone crazy. And I'm getting fed up with a lot of BS. Time for a lot of changes to be made.

Health

I pretty much told my Doctor to **** off as he wasn't helping with anything nor was the medication. I pretty much disposed of what meds I had. Cancelled my appointments and decided I'm just going to go this depression thing solo. I didn't have a choice in the matter anyway as my insurance runs out and I'm not paying $400 a month to see a guy I only see once every 3 months.

While there is some kind of insurance available I can't really do anything with it. So like I said I'm running this depression thing solo and just pray that it doesn't run me into a grave.

Family

My family is well...ugh...As I sit in my room often times I hear jokes cracked and they're the type that you shouldn't say at all. I mean seriously these kind of jokes would probably land you in serious trouble with other people if they heard you. In or out of context.

So I put down to get the hell out of here ASAP. I can't stand where I live anyway.

Youtube

The part that people only truly care for cause it's entertainment for the viewers. Anyway yeah some big changes are in order based on what I've been seeing. But these will not be favorable changes for the viewers anyway.

Time Schedule Change

Look at what's viewed and what's not being viewed. I noticed that well I need to move the release schedule around. 9AM, 12PM, 9AM, 12AM just isn't working out. I can't use this month as a reference cause it's a holiday season and holiday season has a bunch of people off from whatever so they can just watch Youtube till they pass out.

Regardless this schedule will have to change. To what I don't know. I'll figure that out soon.

What's To Be Played

The biggest change. I'm pretty much sick of the whole request thing. Or the suggestions that I play new games/Indie Games. Guess what those don't grab views. While the belief is that these do cause everybody pretty much jumps ship to the newest thing. The issue is keeping them. While I could bust my ass to get a new game and I have done so. It's all for naught. I could keep these people maybe 1 or 2 days then they're gone. It's like they're saying I should've got the game in Japanese or long before Japan even gets the game and beat it in a week. No time to ENJOY the game just beat it.

At that same time I'm wasting money cause I'm not enjoying the game, instead I'm suffering. I can't tell you how many times I said to myself I wish I never played this game. Especially when it comes to Indie games.  Wish I got my money back on some indie games.

So I've concluded that I'm not going to be focusing on new games. I need to save money anyway. There's no point in bending over backwards to get a new game when the interest for that game is gone. And I have a ton of games that I still haven't finished yet. Even more games I haven't even opened yet. They need far more attention than the new games that get boring for me after a day.

All these Games Most of Which I haven't Even Played Not even counting what's downloaded to consoles.

I know it's not favorable. But I want to keep my sanity. Not to mention keep things simple. I highly doubt anyone would truly care if I died or my channel went down or I quit or whatever. I looked deeply at that very subject. If I was to suddenly disappear from the net. No one would know what happened. They would assume I just up and vanished for a length of time and eventually forget about me. It's a fact. My family would know but they wouldn't say anything to anyone online. As they don't know anyone I associate with. So how would people know I died. They wouldn't.

Anyway. That's all I can say for youtube and stuff in the coming year. I'm subjecting myself to hell but it has to be done.

Shadowverse - Better than That Other Game

Steam Version: http://store.steampowered.com/app/453480/
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cygames.Shadowverse
Itunes App Store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/shadowverse/id1091512762?mt=8

So after discovering Shadowverse and playing it off and on for about a good 2 weeks time frame. (I played for over a month but only really played on specific days, Rest was just daily logins). I come to like this game. It's easy to see why this game isn't popular but I like it over the other unnamed TCG.

Story

Shadowverse actually has a story to go along with it. While it's not a compelling story and it's not finished. It's still a story. This bright light in the sky far off shows up called the Morning Star. Legends say it brings hope, disaster, freedom, blah, blah, blah. You can tell where that legend is going if you played enough games.  The Morning Star is basically the apocalypse. I like to call it Blazblue since it's pretty much in the same category of screwing over the main characters.

Anyway the prologue starts with these 2 elves just practicing there archery. As cliche as it is. I'm rather surprised these elves aren't a bunch of stuck up prick (like your typical online TCG community).  That's usually a trope with elves is that because you're not an elf. They're better than you. But not here. The 2 elves are named Losaria and Arisa. Arisa gets kidnapped by these shadow creatures. Losaria chases after them and our Tutorial begins. After you rescue Arisa, Losaria gets kidnapped now.

I'm gonna fast-forward for the sake of time and boredom. After the tutorial you get to play as 7 different characters. Each with there own playstyle and there own story of despair. I say story of despair but what I really should call it is Persona 4 bait. Everyone has there own despair bit and the shadow creatures will either transform into one of the characters or fight you as they are. You learn about each characters backstory as you play through.

Arisa: Is on a journey to save Losaria from Blazblue. (What happens is ironic in terms of Blazblue more than you know). She has depressing thoughts that she may not be able to save them.

Erika: Is a knight who wants to protect the princess from Urias the vampire that just suddenly woke up.  She has tons of thoughts of what if she fails her mission.

Isabelle: Is basically what happens when you don't watch Full Metal Alchemist. As she researches to find a way to bring her fiance' back to life who was killed by a dragon.

Rowen: A dragon knight who's been cursed by a dragon and the one that killed Isabelle's fiance'.  I actually like this guy...well when he turns into a dragon. Wish that was an avatar. Needless to say he has nightmares about how he turns into a dragon and kills those close to him.

Luna: Is a very creepy loli that through the magic of Necromancy brought her parents to live as dead ppl. If you played many of the Tales of Series games you should know how this goes. Luna has issues accepting that her parents are dead and her idea of playing is that she kills you. Somebody "Bright Slap" this girl.

Urias: Is a vampire. And an actual vampire I don't cringe at. He seeks a worthy opponent. Yet he pretty much gets the Castlevania treatment in that he's a vampire and thus must die cause he doesn't belong in this world.

Eris: Eris lost her memories. But really she split in half and her evil self is causing havoc. All for the sake of delivering the world to happiness. Honestly you could solve her story in 1 or 2 chapters but it gets dragged out.

Story is Unfinished

Like I said the story isn't finished. Once you reach chapter 8 of that character's story. You fight one more battle and then that character gets sucked into Blazblue...I mean the Morning Star after meeting God. One character actually does fight her. But it still ends the same.

Nexus: I am god. Come to the light.
*Character (except 2 of them)*: Oh god no. I don't wanna!
Nexus: Too bad you're going anyway.
Character: NOOOOOOOO.....

To Be Continued...

Yeah this will probably be what kills the joy of the game for me. Free To Play games have a horrible habit of "NOT FINISHING THERE STORIES!" For most people they don't really care cause they're having fun with all the other added content. For me that can potentially kill the game. You start a story then suddenly decide not to finish it and focus more on adding extra crap on to your game that could wait. But no, gotta milk your customers of all they're worth.

I hate this. I honestly wonder why bother writing a story in the first place if you're not gonna finish it. It's not like DLC and surprise sequels. Where they just pop up out of nowhere to fill in plot holes that never needed to be filled and leave you with more questions. It's like playing a multi-disc game but you don't have the last disc. Imagine playing Final Fantasy 7 and you just finished Disc 2. Your party members are heading to the final battle and for whatever reason the game just stops there. Cause a 3rd Disc didn't exist. I bet FF7 would not be anywhere as famous as it is now if that was the case.

The fact that free to play games do this a lot cause they want money annoys the hell out of me. How about finish the story and still do your event quest? But that idea never crosses people's minds. Instead tack on tons more bells and whistles that pretty much push the storyline into obscurity. You could be better off not having a story.

Free To Play Games That Never Finished There Story

  • -Digimon Heroes
  • -Final Fantasy Record Keeper
  • -SoulCalibur Lost Swords
  • -
Okay I'm done ranting here. I should move on.

Music and Sounds

Well while I know there's always gonna be that weaboo over my shoulder that'll say Japanese voices are better and the English voices suck cause I say so. The voice acting here is really good.

I am bothered here and there by a few lines that aren't exactly read correctly but it's not horribad. In fact I'm rather impressed that every card and the characters have a ton of lines.

The music is good but nothing to write home about. I generally enjoy the final track. Where you're dueling on the morning star.

Gameplay

The gameplay when compared to other TCGs out there. This is pretty balanced. I know that as I write this a new booster set has come into play. But it hasn't hit the US version as of yet so I don't care. There's as always a bunch of people that decide to make meta decks to say "THIS IS THE BEST DECK!" But it's not really. I have yet to come across a truly broken card that couldn't be countered. In fact it's more about how you play rather than the cards themselves.

It probably changes if you're playing the Japanese version and at high rank but like I said that's not what I'm considering. I'm considering the gameplay I went through.
When the AI decides to be ruthless.

Playstyles

Like I said there's different playstyles depending on the character you choose. Up to 7 different ones.

  • ForestCraft: Pretty much about playing as many cards as humanly possible. Cheap cost then whip out the big guys who benefit from the weaker ones.
  • SwordCraft: Not too different from ForestCraft but is more about working as a team. Or your own army. There is no one man army. At least not yet.
  • RuneCraft: On paper this is broken. In actual practice not so much. Basically the more spells you play the better certain cards will be. It's also rather confusing and convuluted if  you decide to play a specific way.
  • ShadowCraft: Benefits from your cards dying. One of the few times outside of speedruns where purposely killing yourself is beneficial. Abusing Necromancy to pull out annoying effects.
  • DragonCraft: Slow Starter. Once it reaches 7 Play Point orbs it gains what's called Overflow which essentially is a game changer adding effects that make what was once docile weak monsters into piss your pants scary monsters.
  • BloodCraft: About living your life on the edge. You benefit once you reach half HP. Giving  your monsters various effects that give the very definition of vengeance.
  • HavenCraft: Remember those cards in Yugioh that take forever to come out and once they do the hero is in a screwed position?  Yeah think of that for this. You have to wait for your powerful stuff to come out. But once it does. It's like the storm just made landfall.
  • Neutral: Anyone can play this. Basically in a lot of cases cards you go to when you got nothing else.

No Real Need To Spend Actual Money

What probably is the best out of all of this is that instead of frantically opening booster packs to get multiple copies of a particular card. You only really need one or 2 of that card. Cause you can use what's called Vials to make a duplicate of that card. If you have enough vials you can dupe that card. This is a definite plus here.

Aside from that I get enough coins or as it's called Rupies. To buy myself another booster pack. So I never found myself feeling like I need to put in actual cash to win.

The AI ranges from fair to absolutely ruthless. I found myself coming against cards and plays that pretty much ended me with no chance of winning. Although after some editing and coming back I managed to get my own victory.

Take-Two mode is interesting. Where you make a deck of about 30 cards taking 2 random cards then immediately go into a match. An actual bit of luck going into this cause the cards you picked from could be good or bad.

Online Play

Well just like any online TCG or any online game in general. The community is a random crap shoot of absolute shit or friendly.

The official facebook page seems to be full of stuck up kids that love to tear you down regardless of your achievements. Considering how very little of this game I've played (Believe me it's very little despite what the stats say). Myself ranking up is apparently not worth celebrating cause I'm not an A rank. Apparently celebrating a rank up is reserved only for the elite. Although from the many post I read Rank doesn't mean shit whatsoever. Yet I look at the leaderboards and see the scores.
So Why Should I Not Be Happy that I ranked up?

While I may not be on the leaderboard. I guess rank doesn't mean shit. *sarcasm*

Hmmm....Maybe it's that Facebook group that's full of the bad players.

At least when you play online there's stupid chat box so people won't be typing to you tons of hate mail. However there are set quotes and you'll occasionally get the idiot troll that likes to spam these quotes in rapid succession just to piss you off. I wish there was a mute button in times like these.

Matchmaking is pretty decent. I do spend a bit of time getting a match. But I can at least get one and with different people.

Graphics

So there's a simple background mode. And there's the full background. Honestly if you're playing the steam version like me. I don't see a need to make the background simple.

I love the card designs and the effort that went into the artwork. While the cards when they evolve don't really look too different. It's nice too look at. Very memorable. This is likely what keeps me in the game for the most part. Like Puzzle and Dragons, the Artwork is unique and great.

The artwork on these cards are just godly.

Overall

Aside from the Story Being Incomplete. And The online community (at least what I explored) being garbage. This is a great game. I prefer over that other one. This game could easily be more popular if it was more well known. I'm not one to jump into the competitive scene. I just play for fun. Hopefully this game will do more to keep me entertained in the future and not be some one time only thing.

Being Free-To-Play and being rather generous in making me feel that I don't need to pay real money to get cards is a major + in my book. And a step in the right direction. I hope the story gets continued/finished soon.

Is this Legit? - Copyright Strike from PT. Lyto Datarindo Fortuna

I mentioned a few weeks ago about a copyright strike on one of my old Ragnarok Odyssey Ace Videos. This was done manually From:

PT. Lyto Datarindo Fortuna
  • daziunda@gmail.com

I'm questioning if this is legit or not. As doing some digging I found that others have had similar strikes on there account for something related to Ragnarok to the point that it just has Ragnarok in its name. I tried contacting the email listed and no response to this day. Even looking up the account on google and there's nothing but the email listed. Running a search on it I find the same complaints that this copyright strike has appeared with the same email.

I also found a random video that listed the same contact email in there description.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvrGVAcGZcc

I'm not trying to point fingers or incriminate anyone. But this is all I know from the amount of searching I've done.

Question is is this strike legit? Or just some one trying to get rid of channels at random?

Ballistic NG - It's Ballistic that this is a Wipeout Clone.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0Z7uMZY_6Q

Try it for yourself:  http://store.steampowered.com/app/473770/

This game is unfinished as of when I recorded this. It's playable, it's free.  Found it while searching other random games.

So by the Title. Yes this is a clone of Wipeout. I know I shouldn't call it a clone cause when people say it's a clone of another game they usually mean it in a bad way. Well I don't mean it in a bad way. But I will be surprised if they guy doesn't get a Cease and Desist or sued for this. Cause this is pretty much exactly like Wipeout.

So by that description there's not much to say about the game. Main differences is that you can create your own vehicle and tracks which right now a featured one is the Vic Viper. I wonder how long till the Blue Falcon is made.

From what I played this controls pretty well. I had to adjust for a second to learn the controls. I feel maybe the game can run somewhat too fast but you adjust to it eventually. Like I said this is a clone of Wipeout it even has the same modes as the PS3 version has. The weapons are somewhat different.  Maybe one or 2 are different. There's also a boost function which I believe that was a F-Zero thing. I still have yet to blow up. I actually tried to a couple of times to see if I could but nothing. I get close but no kaboom. Except on that one type of race where you constantly gain speed and you have to survive.

I guess what's interesting is how well done it is at this point. Controller support, a bunch of tracks. Oh forgot to mention. CUSTOM SOUNDTRACKS!  I haven't tried online play but that's something to see. We'll see how this game comes along.

Fortune Street - The Game That Goes "LOL You're Alone!"

This game is not meant to be played solo. And likely simillar to Monopoly you might end up frustrated and hate your friends and/or family when the game ends. Fortune Street is a famous Japanese board game that shares elements from Monopoly but far more convoluted and complicated. And now those in the US can play it too.

About the Game

This game is a Japanese long running favorite called Itadaki Street. Originally started out as a minigame in Dragon Quest III that eventually just got turned into it's own game. So basically this is a case of a game having a popular minigame that ends up becoming a stand alone series.

Now you can call this game Monopoly but I bet the diehard fans of these games will flame you with corrections saying that it's not Monopoly. Despite sharing a lot of elements. To be more accurate you could describe it as Japanese Monopoly or Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep's Command Board. Or miniature stock market.

This game ended up rather famous and caught my eye ages ago back in 2004/2005. When a game called Dragon Quest/Final Fantasy Itadaki Street was shown in an issue of GameInformer. Showing everyone favorite iconic FF characters on a monopoly board. Unforntunately this game did not make it to the US. Years later Fortune Street is released. Showing the same gameplay. I never thought of buying it cause I was concerned with other games.

Well now that I rented the game. I think I'll pass on this.

How to Play

So if you're familiar with Monopoly or KH:BBS's Command Board. You can easily get the hang of this game. You move around the game board buying and selling properties. Charging others who happen to land on your properties. You can buy, sell, trade, or auction properties. To make money.

The similarites start to end here however. You're able to raise the property value of what you own by putting more money into it. Like buying a house/hotel in Monopoly. However there's a cap as to how much can go into it and you're not limited by how many plastic houses you have.

The goal of the game is reach the target net worth value and make it back to the bank first. Should a player go bankrupt depending on the rules the game can end prematurely. To raise your net worth aside from hoping that your opponents land on your properties. You collect the 4 suited cards placed around the board and travel back to the bank. Every time you do this you're given money based on how much you own and how much money was made during the time of you traveling around the board back to the bank. It's complicated.

Now I haven't tried this but according to the advance rules you can invest in the stock market as well. I don't know much about it but if it's anything like the real stock market (or Wall Street Kid for the NES). I'm avoiding this like the plague. And like always there's random BS that can either screw you over or help you out. But there's no jail.

Experience

Now my adventures solo. My 3 times playing this game so far range from normal ,to frustrating, to "Please, END IT ALREADY!!".

The tutorial was simple and to be honest the AI was stupid. Probably on purpose. Although they weren't that stupid as to automatically let me win. I did have issues with this tutorial as in the tutorial should have ended instead of dragging it on until I win.

Now my first experience against the AI. Face Dragon Quest characters I don't know anything about really. I know a small bit of the monsters (cause I played Dragon Quest Monsters before) but outside of that I know nothing of these guys. They sure talk a lot. And let's be honest they're really stingy.  Trying to buy properties from them pretty much was the AI telling me to "Go **** myself!"

But that's not where the problem came about. My problem came about with the AI's dice rolls. I started noticing that the AI was getting very convenient rolls or really I should say they pulled a Joey Wheeler of Yu-Gi-Oh with those stupid dice. The dice rolls always seemed to be in there favor. I could barely get a chance to actually buy a property cause they easily bought up the majority of them. It got even worse when it came to late game and the AI would just roll the dice and get the perfect number to avoid what's essentially the Boardwalk and Park Place on the board.

*those that don't know about Monopoly. Boardwalk and Park Place are the 2 most expensive properties in the game and owning them pretty much insured your victory over others as when they landed on it the unlucky player is usually bankrupt.

This kept happening. As the match went on for an hour. Where I somehow ended up taking 2nd.

Well these Dragon Quest characters annoy me. So screw them. Let's go to the more friendly Mario characters. Mario is a completely different plumber when it comes to the stock market. Bowser Jr. used his underhanded tactics and Yoshi was the unlucky newbie that got taken advantage of. So a repeat of the same as the previous game. Only difference this took 2 HOURS! And I won somehow.

So aside from the AI cheating the game with there convenient dice rolls. What annoyed me to death was how long everything took. While the game did recognize this slightly it still dragged things out too long. Every turn the AI characters had something to say when there turn came up. Then the AI had more things to say when there turn finished or when I did something. A lot of times I think they were plotting my death cause there responses was rather borderline pissed off.

Gameplay Complaints

I wish there was a fast-forward button or just an option to speed the game up. Cause things were taking a really long time. There is an option to let the AI play the game for you and suspend your game but it's not enough. As for letting the AI play for you. You have to choose from a list of preset AI patterns. And you gotta unlock the others. So I clearly don't trust the AI with my financial future.

Music

The music is great. I honestly would like these songs to be on other games. I actually read a bunch of youtube comments when looking up the music of this game complaining that the good music is on this game and no where else. You would think Smash Bros would get some of this.

Overall

Like I said this game can get insanely boring especially when playing alone. Aside from the cheating AI you would just get bored watching as things repeat waiting for an oppurtunity to make a big play. With no way to speed things up I got really bored to where I was sleepy.  This game is definitely not meant to be played solo. At least Mario Party you got to do something other than move across the board.

I do however like the music and if you can find the music whether on Youtube or some OST I recommend giving it a listen.

I wouldn't reccommend this game unless A. Your a fan of these games. or B. you have reliable number of family or friends to play with you. Otherwise prepare to be frustrated and bored with this game.

Uh More Digimon Story - Cyberslueth - Jimiken

So why not? I mean the last Digimon Story Cyberslueth Video got tons of views compared to the norm for some reason. Might as well take advantage of it. (unless it was just one of those one time deals where I got lucky that day.

So Jimiken apparently a popular K-Pop music artist is actually evil. Or well a hacker. Kinda hard to tell if hackers in this game are good or evil. This guy talks so damn much...can I attack the human tamer?

And let's bring Pokemon into this. As to when you get volunteered to do things by your friends who have big mouths. Nokia's lucky this is a job or I'd just walk out.

Jimiken obviously sucks at digimon.

And let it be known that Agumon and Gabumon's life was forever filled with hardship and strife as they foolishly joined up with Nokia. Well not my problem.

Oh look Zaxon's boss. And he has a girl. Or well someone to do all his dirty work. And she doesn't like me? I dunno. These ppl have issues. I'm out I got another job to do anyway.

As If I Didn't Have Enough On My Plate - Copyright Strike

Right before bed. I come across this. And over a video made over 2 years ago.
Lyto Datarindo Fortuna is apparently the company that had a part in making Ragnarok Online. But from all the information I looked up there's nothing on them having a part in Ragnarok Odyssey Ace.

And like usual this is a foreign company so they're never gonna respond to any message you send them. Despite that they have a gmail listed right here. So let's just add to my frustrations.

This was also manually detected so some dude personally did it right at that time. I'm really pissed off today. And no word from my partnership company on this as of yet. So I'm just sitting here pissed off and frustrated.

Mic Broke Again -_- $%&*$@%$*($*(%^@!!!!!!

Well a slight bit of bad news.  I was planning on finishing the Ratchet & Clank series (At least the games I have) By the end of this month. But just this morning my microphone broke -_-.

I don't have a spare right now and I'm rather tired of buying cheap ones that just fall apart. So I guess I'll have to put the next 3 Ratchet & Clank games on hold until next year (A Crack In Time, Into the Nexus, All 4 One) -_-.  Sorry. I'll try and fill it in with other games as I can. Don't know what though but it's something. Since I can't get a good mic for awhile (not until next year).

While I have a few videos with commentary. It's not much.  Not to go through the entire month.

Brave Exvius and Macros Part 2

So after I posted my video about how Macros are not allowed to be used in this game. A person said I should spread the word. So I spreaded it the best way I know how. Which was also a stupid at the same time.

I posted this on Reddit.

The comments received of course were pretty much in the negative towards me. Stating that they have proof from customer support that it is allowed in certain aspects. In other words a loophole.

After a few post a moderator decided to delete my post saying that it's the same as many other posts before it and I should read those posts instead making a new topic. While I sense that I basically got the "Not favorable post so I will delete it cause I got the power" type of treatment. I moved on from it. Saying I'm not gonna be the guy that goes on everyone else's word and tries something illegal. Cause knowing my luck I'll be the guy to get banned and everyone else will say. "Sucks to be you."

So to ease my concerns after my topic was deleted. I personally contacted customer support about this issue on Macros. Asking them to clarify the whole thing. A few days later (or the day I'm typing this out.) I got a reply.

"To clarify your concern, we do not tolerate the use of Macros in the game. We are doing our best to lesson or remove the usage of macros in order to maintain the balance in the game.

Not to worry, we are also monitoring this and our server 24/7. Rest assured that this feedback will be heard also by the proper department for the improvement of the game."

Dated December 1st, 2016 at 00:23

So again to clarify the use of macros on this game is illegal and will get you banned. I'm not gonna bother posting this on Reddit as from the experience of the first post it's obviously full of trolls that don't want there lazy methods taken from them. (It's not about the fact that my post on there was deleted it's about the earlier responses I will not quote but they were nothing short of being trolls).

While this does make my life in this game harder. I don't mind cause I'm not looking to beast mode the game anyway. I need to treat it as a mobile game. While the rewards for playing it daily is great. It's not worth pouring my life into. Especially when the popularity for me putting videos of this game up are dismal.

Youtube's Glitchin Again and Other Things - Update Dec 2016

So it's the last month of the year. Winter is like 2 days away (From when I type this out). I'm getting over the flu. Trying to upload a lot of crap too. So let's get started.

Youtube Being Funky Again

So it's a rumor that's been goin around. That Youtube secretly changed how things work again. Which once again pissed off a plethora of Youtubers across the globe. Apparently Youtube automatically unsubbed people from certain channels and messing around with the recommended videos.  I think it's a glitch in the system again. Youtube did say some time ago that they're getting rid of users that are generally inactive. Along with the silly Youtube Hero thing.

The big Youtubers are concerned or pissed (take your pick) that this is not only cutting there paycheck but also worried that youtube is going to change to where viral videos are the way to go.

I kinda like how AfroSenjuXL addressed this compared to others. Basically he said that you just gotta deal with it. Only reason I like that one is cause as of right now there's no definitive proof that Youtube has changed how things work. Just more rumor based on a few circumstances. I do believe that Youtube unsubbed people from channels. Cause I was unsubbed from various channels. But I watch those channels pretty often and channels I haven't watched in ages and are pretty much inactive to dead. I'm still subscribed to. For example I was unsubbed from TeamFourStar and Maximillian. So I believe it's a glitch in something that they were trying to implement. Cause even the comment system is rather messed up.

On a lot of videos I can post a comment but I can't edit it afterwards forcing me to either post another comment or delete the old one and replace it. The unsub thing is somewhat getting my attention. Cause that is my paycheck but at the same time I'm not completely worried about it cause the bulk of my views and comments come from people that aren't even subscribed to me in the first place.

The Youtube Trend - What I Should Follow???

Oh boy this is one I've been trying to ignore. Cause I know people mean well with what they say. But it is a bit annoying to read and think about.

Sub4Sub -

Okay seriously this is stupid. I realize people are desperate for subscribers. But this isn't the way to go about it. Doing Sub4Sub is rather useless if that subscriber isn't watching in the first place. I've recently had someone comment saying that if I subbed to him/her that they would sub back to me with all of there channels. ....What....I'm not that desperate.

Sign up here/Pay Money for subs -

I can't believe this is still happening. You should know this doesn't work and Youtube/Google watches for this. Just don't.

Play *insert game here* for more subs

- Sigh...here's the issue with this. First off I have to be able to afford the game. 2nd I need to actually have some interest in the game. 3rd I need to get the game in a timely fashion. Preferably early before the game is even out.

This is rather impossible to keep up with. New consoles, new games, and people's interest in said games. I barely have 2 weeks (being generous) to get that game and immediately produce content for it. What I want to focus on is the "my interest" part.

Now I see a lot of games get mad popular for whatever reason. But the majority of those games I look at them and go...meh.

Undertale: I like the music. But I don't like the gameplay. While I think the game trolling you is funny. When I see bosses like Flowey, Sans, etc pull that kind of BS and even crash the game (which would ruin my recordings considering the software I use). I'm rather removed from it interest wise and for the sake of my health I don't wanna sit around and rage at a game. Also the game has been done to death everybody has likely seen EVERYTHING there is to see with the game.

Five Nights At Freddy's: I bought the first one. I don't like horror games. Not cause of jump scares or crap like that. But the fact that it's not scary to me. Like I've seen with many playthroughs after the first couple of times of getting jump scared the player gets tired of it and just wants to get it over with. Heck often times to me it's funny cause of how cheesy it is.

Minecraft, GMod: Games like these only so much can be done solo. Which at that point I need a reliable group of friends to play with. I'm still at that point in my life where I generally hate the online community. Being introverted and whatever. I don't wanna subject myself to online randoms especially after my past experiences that haunt me.

MMO's: There are MMO's I want to play. But first is dealing with the amount of dedication required to play these games. It's not just play for an hour or so and be done. It requires a ton of time.

Indie games: Again I need some actual interest in the game. Indie games feel risky in terms of enjoyment for me. Especially since it's easy to know the developer. I had an interest in an Indie graphic adventure game but due to how the developer of the game acted on twitter not to mention the many bad rumors and facts spreading around about him. I said nope. The other end of the spectrum is that I need to have an interest in the game and hope that game has some sort of support behind it. I played through JumpJet Rex but pretty much everyone was done with the game at the time I played it.  I didn't have much interest in Hello Neighbor due to the alpha's controls and the gameplay didn't win me over.

Well those are a few examples. I've already gone over M Rated games and my stance on those. So I won't repeat that.

What Seems to Work.

Judging from what I see on my channel. The things that work seem to be the following:

  • -Sonic
  • -Anime-Based Games
  • -Silly crap

I generally just play what I feel like. Not whatever the trend is. That said there's a ton of games I haven't even opened yet. I really need to play those instead of shooting for new games.

Youtube Videos Right Now

Okay let's get off the channel bit and focus on what's being played right now.

Skylanders Imaginators

I already recently made a post of the skylanders I'm searching for. Getting them will be a problem. But otherwise I'm done with the game as you may have recently seen.

Blazblue Central Fiction

I would love to post online matches. But getting online matches is the thing. I don't really want to play the lobbies. I feel those people like to fool around. I've tried to get ranked matches and people are playing. But not with me. Despite 2 and 3 bar connections which is pretty good by Blazblue Standards. I can't seem to get a ranked match.
As for the single player content. There would've been more this week as I'm typing this if I didn't come down with the flu. To make it worse I had about 5 hours of content recorded only to find out I instead recorded a blank source.

Ratchet & Clank

I still plan to finish the Ratchet & Clank games I have. Which leaves A Crack In Time, Into the Nexus, and All 4 One. They probably won't be all uploaded by the end of the year but it's still gonna happen.

Pokemon Sun/Moon

Assuming I can actually afford the game. I'll debate on playing it. I've already got complaints about the demo videos saying the quality sucks and what not. So I doubt it would be worth my time to record.

Health

Yeah like I mentioned I caught the flu and I'm still getting over it. Aside from that. The depression medication. I either want to change or just quit altogether. My issue is that one my doctor doesn't give a shit and is the type to just write prescriptions and you're out the door. The other thing is my insurance will run out end of this year.

I haven't found a good replacement for it that isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg. While some plans I saw are affordable on paper. I may as well not have insurance cause it doesn't cover much at all.

I still need to go for my eye exam and get a new pair of glasses too. I put it off cause I know how expensive it is and how much of a hard time places give me for just an eye exam.

Personal/Family/Friends

I guess it's okay. I mean I don't celebrate holidays cause of how much crazy BS happens with my family. So I try to stay out of it. It's pretty much every holiday especially around this time something stupid goes on. Not to mention dealing with family members that want what they think is best and try to control your life is not my thing. And believe me, my outside family is a bunch of control freaks. But that's life. I've been planning on moving out for awhile. Just haven't decided where.

As for politics. I try not to pay attention to it. Cause for the most part all I see is fences being put up between people that were once friends. I understand how people feel but playing the blame game isn't going to do anything to make the situation better.

I think that's about it in terms of an update. Excuse me while I lay back down in bed.

Skylander Hunting -

Well there's not much I'm really looking for. I pretty much just want to have enough sensei's to cover opening each elemental realm as well as covering each battle class. Problem is that Activision gave the short end of the stick in terms of selection. At least for me.

So Here's what I'm hunting for.

Imaginite Crystals

Earth

Dark

Magic

Sensei's

Dr. Krankcase

Air Strike ( Air Brawler)
Chain Reaction (Earth Swashbuckler)

Mysticat (Magic Sorcerer)
Blastertron (Light Knight)

Level Packs

Gryphon Park Observatory
Elven Forest

Gryphon Park covers Air Strike and Earth Crystal.
I don't know what Elven Forest comes with. But probably something I already have.

The rest is an issue.

Wouldn't be difficult if I didn't live in the state of Georgia. I don't know why. Georgia just seems to suck in terms of getting specific products. I noticed on Twitter, Facebook, ebay, etc. That people have these already. For whatever reason. Kinda unfair if you ask me. It's worse cause if you look on Amazon, Ebay wherever you shop online. You see people price gouging these Skylanders to death. The other thing is that my stores suck at stocking anything. Especially if I buy online.

If I'm not buying via Amazon/Ebay.  Then I go through hell. A recent example was Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I checked Toys R Us. Oh hey it's on sale. But I have to pick it up in store....wouldn't be a problem if travel time wasn't going to be 2+ hours. I used to have TRU near me. But it shut down saying they're relocating. Target was the same deal. However Target literally said because of where I live. It's not available for me. And my Target shut down.

Wal-Mart LOL! Yeah good luck.

Gamestop. Well my Gamestop is shady. I don't hate them I just hate the ones close to me. Basically the employees are pretty much selfish liars to a good extent. Sometimes you would ask them if they have a certain game or product in. And they'll pretend to type it in the computer only to say they don't. But there website says they do. They refuse to show you the screen. Instead they want you to place a pre-order before they're actually nice to you. But this is just mine I don't know about the others. Cause there's one on the military base and I know for a fact that you can't pull BS and still have a store on base cause you'll get shut down.

Another thing and this still rubs me the wrong way despite me trying to forget this. A Gamestop employee refused to sell me Bravely Default. Simply because I told her that I didn't care that something was censored compared to the Japanese version. I could've raised a fuss. But I didn't feel like it. The other guy that's supposed to be working went on break to get lunch so she was alone for a time. I decided to leave.  I don't know if that lady is still working there or not. Usually employees at Gamestop don't stay for very long.

Anyway off that tangent. Getting these Skylanders is a pain. I'm pretty much restricted to getting lucky and buying online.

Digimon Story: Cyberslueth - The Digimon Game People Asked For

Well this game has plenty of ups and downs. Personally Digimon just never seemed to cut it as an RPG for one reason or another. Namco/Ban-Dai seems to screw up digimon in one way or another. Well this time they get a pass.

Story

Hey this is just like Pokemon

To sum up the story. Take Sword Art Online or Dot.Hack, add in some Megaman Battle Network, Add in some Pokemon, Then put Digimon all over it.

So first off the opening is long. You get no real action for at least 30 to 45 minutes. Basically you're a user using the game's version of Skype/Discord chatting it up with your buddies. Then you get a random invitation from some mystery program to explore an area of the net that pretty much is a "Only bad people go here" zone.

Well only 2 of your friends go to this area with you...or well you show up late. Your female friend Nokia is a total coward. And Your male friend who's name escapes me right now. Is this wannabe cool guy that knows a trick or two. Put it this way. Your 2 friends are the same as your friends in various Pokemon games. Particulary Black/White and X/Y.  In other words they suck and pretty much force you into helping them.

So as soon as you reach Kowloon your friends go missing and you search to find them. Only to encounter this mysterious boy that's supposedly the ghost of the net. He talks for quite a long time eventually telling you about Digimon and how you and your friends were made into Hackers the minute you arrived in the area. Simply because some program was installed on your device that you can't delete.

So after this guy finishes talking. He offers you a Digimon in the style of the opening to a Pokemon game. You choose one only to see it attacked by another digimon. He tells you not to worry about it but you run after that digimon anyway. You decided to help your digimon out in this battle and your so called friend who's been talking for quite awhile decides to help you...Just this Once. He busts out ****ing Machinedramon of all things just to show off. You didn't even need that to defeat this Digimon. He tells you to grow stronger and puts you through a tutorial of sorts. Then leaves.

So after all that you find your friends are being attacked by some weird creature that isn't a digimon. Agumon and Gabumon show up to help Nokia who's in trouble but they suck. You decide to step in and help to. While your wannabe cool friend tries to hack the exit to get the heck out of here. Well guess what. This is a planned battle and you can't win cause you do 0 Damage.

Okay...I think I partied a little too hard last night.

Battle ends and everyone escapes but you get grazed by this creature upon your escape so you didn't successfully log out. Now you wake up and well you look like you went to a frat house party and got a special hazing. Cause you're nothing but data. Or really you're a blue polygon that got rejected from the Fighting Polygon Team. You get rescued by some scantily clad female and after tons more talking you go on your first actual quest.

Hello, scantily clad but somehow trustworthy female.  Although this taken out of context...is she offering me sex?
Mystery Food X in Coffee Form

Fast-forward a bit. You find that your real body is in a coma and sealed up in the Special Ward of a local hospital. So now you're on a quest not only to get your body back but to figure out exactly WTF is going on and how to solve it.

Phew...

Gameplay

Okay this is a double edged sword for me. But this gameplay is far better than the previous Digimon Games. Trust me.

The Good

So the game is very linear. While that can be a bad thing. It helps in this game as it's pretty easy to figure out what to do. The people you need to talk to are clearly marked. The path you should take isn't a huge maze.

The Battle system is simple. It pretty much does a rock paper scissors deal. But unlike older digimon games selecting attacks and Digivolving isn't a convoluted process.

Digivolving is insanely easy. You just reach a specific level and a few other requirements that are pretty easy to achieve. As a plus you can have more than 3 party members. You have your main 3. Then your reserves.

I got him really quick

The Bad

However I don't really like the main hub world you start at. That place is kind of a maze. There's too many things laid about that you don't even explore. Really it just shows off tons of Namco-Bandai Cameos like Tekken. But looking to find certain places can get tedious cause the hub world layout is a pain.

Then it can be too easy to digivolve. Why is this a bad thing. Cause of how easy it is to grind you actually have a team size limit. You can increase this size as you play the game. But if you're heavily grinding levels and digivolving right away you'll quickly fill up that team size.

Yeah this ain't creepy. Good thing there's pre-generated answers.

Digiline - This thing can be compared to twitter or skype. It beeps off every now and again with messages from either your friends or your digimon. Your friends ask you random crap generally related to the story. While your digimon ask about personal things based on there nature. Your answers are based on the game so it's not asking for sensitive information. But it is sorta unsettling and yet cute at the same time that they ask you things about your life or your family.

Voice Acting

I don't mind the Japanese voice acting. My problem with it or just Japanese voice acting in general is that reading the text I'm obviously faster than what's spoken. But Japanese language tends to speak a lot and they have frequent pauses in there dialogue before its finished. So sometimes I cut them off prematurely or I wait too long cause I think they have more to say.

Also they talk A LOT! Yes it's an RPG game talking is required. But I honestly would like some option to auto-play the dialogue at least when it's spoken.

Music and Sound Effects

Well....I like the battle music. However...the BGM is hardly used. There's a ton of totally silent areas throughout the game. It's kinda of a Japanese thing to use silence to set the mood. However where the silence is in the game is unneeded. I got worried that my game was broken.

Also the theme for Kowloon and a few other sound effects bothers me. It starts out fine. But then you start hearing random sound effects that make you wonder if it's one of your devices in real life or the game. Every time I'm in Kowloon (which you will frequent often), I end up looking towards my consoles or PC thinking that they either turned themselves on or are having issues.

Graphics

Okay...Leomon looks so damn good here this could probably turn you gay. LOL

So for a Vita/VitaTV/PS4 game. This looks good. I'm playing at 720p cause that's what it got forced to despite HDMI cable (I can go up to 1440). Scary good compared to the past graphics of digimon games. Even comparing it to that of Digimon All-Star Rumble. This looks better than that game. One of the rare occasions I see 3D models actually look great.

Variety of Digimon

There's a big enough variety. I don't expect them to add in EVERY SINGLE Digimon. That's just murder. There's at least 240 different Digimon. The game hits most of the popular ones or the somewhat well known ones. However the game does forget that certain series digimon exist. I won't mention Xros wars cause this did come out around the time it started. But I don't see much of Frontier getting represented.

Overall

This is an enjoyable game. I wish I could properly record it. But I don't have an HD Recorder to do so. Maybe in the future.

Macro Discussion - Good or Bad?

Well first off the reason I brought this up. The ever popular mobile game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and Final Fantasy: Record Keeper have been known to have some seriously tedious grinding. Record Keeper you have not only EXP but also those annoying but needed and useful Record Materias. Brave Exvius has the Godlike Trust Master rewards and Esper Grinding.

The Problem????

So here's the deal. Macro's. It's a thing for games where you program a controller or console or game to do the work for you by either simplifying it. Or just plain auto the work for you. The most common being Auto(Turbo, Rapid)-Fire controllers. But there are some far more elaborate macros that will literally input a set list of commands for you at the touch of a button.

Now in terms of Fighting games. This is illegal no questions about it. At least at tournaments. Despite the fact that some major controller and arcade stick making companies add in an Auto-Fire function that can be used to there products. But we're talking about in the comfort of your own home (or on your phone, tablet, whatever).  Since you're behind closed doors, who cares that you're using Auto-Fire besides Revolver Ocelot (MGS Joke). Even more so can it even be legitimately proven?

I'm more 50/50 on the subject of Macro key usage. I have a macro PS2 controller. It doesn't work as intended but it's still a macro. Basically I could input a command to a button and make use of it. But it still has its downsides.

  1. For one only simple very basic commands will work effectively and even then there's a chance it can fail. I'm talking about your basic fireball, high jump, and the like.
  2. Two, I can and probably any given human can input the commands much faster than the controller. At least for my controller.

So I don't use it. I only really use it for doing some sort of auto grind. To try and speed up the process or just so I don't have to give it much attention and do something else. As for mobile games I can't really use it. I've tried but found out that program just didn't work for me. I would have to jump through a lot of hoops to make it work. So this generally rules out fighting games for me. It doesn't respond well to the modern day fighters either regardless of using a controller converter.

Now in terms of the game(s) in question Final Fantasy: Record Keeper but more focusing on Brave Exvius. This is where the use of macros falls into a huge grey area.

Macro's Needed/Unneeded Use

In Brave Exvius if you want the good stuff. Then you're going to want to farm those Trust Master Rewards. A Trust Master Reward or TMR is a prize for using a character so much that you essentially get a gift for it. Here's the problem, you don't get this easily. After every battle there's a small chance that your party used in battle may receive 0.1% towards your TMR.  You need to reach 100% to actually get the TMR.

There are other methods of gaining TMR percentage but very costly. The other method is to either:

  • Fuse 2 of the same character. This will transfer that character's current TMR% and give you +5%.
  • Fuse these monsters called Trust Moogles to gain from 10%-20% TMR.
The first one is obviously costly. As the good trust master rewards are dropped from the rare characters. So you'll likely be forking over some cash to fulfill the first method.
The 2nd one is just as hard. They're generally given at events but you have to truly earn it as they're locked behind either a very steep grind session or a ridiculously hard boss fight. Which to essentially win you'll likely need those TMRs to pull off a victory without paying money.

So the reason I brought this up. The guys that basically dedicate there lives to this game have came up with a strategy to gaining TMR's somewhat easier. Since you can only have 5 characters in a party (not counting your friend's character). Have 5 of the same character in your party and grind the very first stage over and over again. Then you'd only need to raise each character's TMR up to 20% (cause you get a bonus 5% for each of the same character fused plus whatever TMR they currently had).

Well that kinda saves some effort needed but it's still tedious. You're looking at days if not months of endless boring grinding based on the luck of RNG. And honestly I hate RNG like this. It's really tedious to sit around and tap the same parts of your phone/tablet screen.

The Huge Grey Area

Now for the gray area. The gray area is this. Macros. Some people heck a lot of people have either found 3rd Party apps or built in programs to basically do the tedious grinding on its own. Very smart to be honest. I'm not telling you where to find such programs you can do a google search for it and find tons of results.

The problem is. Is this fair? It's not a fighting game or an FPS where using such things is clearly giving an unfair advantage to where it's downright cheating. You're not cheating the company out of money by falsely generating in-game currency which really is what these companies look out for. You're more or less just playing the game...sorta.  I guess it could be unfair by the games PvP standards that you have these rare and powerful items to reach the top ranks. But can it be proven?

Well here's the stance of Brave Exvius. From the company Gungho who developed the game. They basically say, no third party apps are allowed and ppl caught will be banned without notice.

But at the same time. There are tons of people contacting them and receive responses from the officials saying, "We'll let you know." At the same time the community is split on the issue. As of this day I'm writting this. I looked it up and found no definitive answer outside of the random announcement issued a few days ago. Some took it seriously. Others took it worth a grain of salt. Some even said there's loop holes in this statement saying it's perfectly okay cause of "this, this, and this."

So how exactly can it be proven that you used a 3rd Party app or program? Are they tracking what programs you use? If they are is it with our consent? Or is it like Rage Quitters, lag switches, etc. where it's up to individual to determine based on the very small amount of circumstantial evidence that he or she has?

What's the verdict?

Yes
No
Maybe Under certain conditions
I don't know

Jet Vac vs Super Kaos - Skylanders Imaginators

Song: Bergentr├╝ckung - Undertale (Wanted to use one of those many covers/remixes but they're way too short to be used).

Jet-Vac went on and on about his lunch the entire game. And Kaos ate it.  Time to channel that Rocket Raccoon Voice. (Same Voice Actor)

Difficult...Cause it's an imaginator, not a sensei. Just a normal skylander. (that I have 3 of).... Pretty much focus on making Super Kaos kill himself. Super Kaos takes damage from his doomlanders and apparently they don't know the meaning of Friendly Fire. But Jet-Vac can die in like 2-3 hits. Glad I had one that wasn't maxed out although never got to abuse the level damage gimmick. (When you level up any normal enemy around you dies and bosses take extreme damage.)

Skylanders Imaginators #22

So first off. WOLFGANG HAS A TWIN?!

When you start the stage you're outside and you notice some rats are getting kicked out by the bouncer. The rats want you to help them get in. So you ring the doorbell. The bouncer hates doorbells and attacks you. -_-  The rats aren't your enemy this time and help out. Although they quickly get themselves killed. But drop EXP all the same so who cares.

After you defeat the bouncer. Our old friend Trigger Happy shows up telling you that he'll let you inside once you get him down from the balloons. So get up to the turret gun and shoot the balloons. Don't forget to shoot the sign that has Sal (Wolfgang's Twin Brother) on it. Shoot the ends of the sign to make it fall over. This leads to a treasure chest.

Now once inside meet Sal. Wolfgang's twin. It's basically Wolfgang wearing clothes, has a fancy hair do, no spikes on his back, has way too much bling, and carries a mic instead of a guitar. After you fangirls are done swooning over him. Time to enlist his aid.

Next This level is long. Well not long but incredibly tedious when trying to get everything. First off you're gonna have to revisit this stage later cause there's one area you can't even access without a certain key item.

2nd There's only really one minigame here. The rest of the minigames are just the boring Card Game and shooting minigame. The minigame that takes forever is a copycat of any given tank game but made for kids.

Basically your goal is defeat the high score which is about 10k points. So you just go around shooting everything. Kill the tanks, destroy the walls, destroy the enemy bases. Repeat. If you die you respawn with no real penalty. You lose when the CPU manages to destroy your base. Which takes them quite some time. Heck I had to let them destroy it to stop cause I could've went on forever.

Every level you progress the enemy tanks gain more HP. That's the only difficulty in this minigame.

After that annoying bit. Sal wants you to play your classic carnival shooter. Shoot the targets. Don't forget the one hidden on the left for a secret area. I don't really need to explain everything here.

Once done there Ascend to find the yourself in some ppl's nightmare. Other's dream. It's an area full of plushies. Most of these mountain of dolls can be attacked to reveal some enemies. Anyway your key to getting out of here is playing another card game. Afterwards after doing some exploring picking up the collectables. Get ready to fight. Now you must fight to play the apparently popular videogame.  Well it's an easy fight. And it's a Sensei area so start abusing your Sensei's to destroy EVERYTHING!

Do the Sensei shrine if you wish. After that switch to your Imaginator if you wish cause now you're gonna play this "AWESOME" video game. (sarcasm).  It's a kids game. You're some marshmallow and you need to basically hit every object you can for points. Well if you want the achievement/trophy. Otherwise who cares just move to the right classic 2D side scrolling style and find Kaos?!

Boss Fight: Doomlander Smasher Class

Kaos thinks that this fight will be your doom cause you're fighting on a 2D plane. Yet he's obviously picked the wrong Doomlander for this. The boss is slow and in fact you can trick his AI. If you're using a mid/long range skylander just run to the other side and shoot. When the boss gets close hop over him and go to the other side and shoot. It might be slightly more difficult for close range types but this Doomlander is so slow you shouldn't have too much trouble.

The 2nd phase Kaos gives him a new move which isn't really different from his old one. The strategy remains the same.

Phase 3 Kaos now summons Fire Spellpunks to attack you. His logic is that it should be hard to dodge fireballs in 2D. Well he's half right. But most of the time those spell punks have terrible aim or I killed him without knowing.

Well once that fight is over. Kaos Rage Quits and its time to move on to your prize. To unlock the vault you need to grind the rail and jump to break the locks. Once that's done the stage ends.

The brain is an ungrateful prick and leaves. Sal tries to cheer you up saying you'll get him. -_- Gee thanks. And now it's cutscene time.

With the Brain free. He and Kaos unleash a massive brainwashing wave to make everyone but your Skylanders and Spyro mindless zombies.  Well time to solve this problem before proceeding to defeat Kaos.

Skylanders Imaginators Flare Dartroc vs Super Kaos

Rather made my night. So Activision has a sense of humor. Poking fun at Dragon Ball Super. I never watched Dragon Ball Super. I don't want to. But I do know about this Super Saiyan God Crap. Honestly this is hilarious. Not to mention how pathetic this boss is compared to many other Skylanders Series final bosses.

So a slight spoiler. Although by the time this fight goes up on YouTube I mean the full video. It'll be around end of November.

Hello Neighbor Pre Alpha - Meh

Wish I could go through the window... :<

This is a Pre-Alpha so take what I say worth a grain of salt. Since it's obvious the game isn't complete.

So I saw this game on many channels and thought to myself why not. After all there's this small yet annoying cry for indie games (no offense). I feel like I wasted a good hour and a half on this. Not to mention that this game just adds on to my rather horrible week. Yeah if you're expecting a "This game is great. Support it!" type of review you might wanna leave now.

Downloading

So having to jump through hoops to even get my hands on the Pre-Alpha. On there site (Tiny Build) I basically had to sign up to get a Pre-Alpha download. The other option is to pay $30 ($29.99) to get the "Early Access Alpha".  Yeah don't have that kind of money to throw away. Anyway  I had to wait a good hour before I was sent an e-mail to download this Pre-Alpha. Not much of a complaint but I hate having to refresh my e-mail inbox.

Controls

Thankfully after downloading I didn't have to install it or anything. Just open the app. And it's not found as a virus by my virus scanner so that's a good thing. Well first I boot things up and had the thought that the game had controller support. It does but it's not finished. I could only run and jump. So instead I had to force myself to go to my most dreaded way of playing games. Keyboard + Mouse. I hate this style of control. Force me on one or the other not both. I'M LOOKING AT YOU LEAGUE OF LEGENDS!!!  Then I noticed that my crosshair is off center. So picking up items stressful.

Gameplay

I should talk about what this game is about. "Hello Neighbor is a Stealth Horror Game about sneaking into your neighbor's house. Play against an advanced AI
that learns from your every move."

-quote directly from the Hello Neighbor site (http://www.helloneighborgame.com/)

Okay I hate to break it to you. And I might be a bit biased about this. But Horror game. This is not. What the hell is scary about this game? Well according to other playthroughs and apparently an ever growing Game Theory (I hate these). Your nameless neighbor apparently is hiding something in his house. That maybe he possibly killed his wife. Is some sort of alien. Or any other ridiculous TV Show/Movie mysterious neighbor cliche you can think of.

In versions of this game I don't have and trailers. There's various scenes to supposedly support this. Like one where he captures you and buries you alive leaving you only a pipe to leads to fresh air. Or where he's chasing you down through a very elaborate basement that probably leads to that mansion in Resident Evil. Also what apprantly supports this is that your neighbor goes to great lengths to keep you out.

To be honest he's just a paranoid, anti-social, kleptomanic to me. He has items in various places that make no sense. He's locking up his house to the point of boarding up his windows and using bear traps of all things. The guy even breaks into his own house to keep his doors locked. Patrols constantly. Yeah this guy has problems. And its my goal to break into this guy's house and find out what he's hiding? If this was my situation in real life um....no. I would just keep to myself unless he stole something from me or I heard a scream. Even then I would call the cops.

Experience

Anyway you first go into his house and no one's around. At least until you get close to this door that has a bright light coming from it. The moment you do you're neighbor strangles you and you wake up in your bed the next day. If you go back into his house. Not only is your neighbor chasing you down like he wants to kill you. But you find that door you looked at is locked tight. He's boarded it up, locked it with a passcode, deadbolted it.

So now your job is to figure out how to open this door. Not like Nelson Tethers: Puzzle Agent who only had to solve puzzles to open a door. You have to search for tools and clues to open this door. All while making sure you don't get caught by this guy. Let's talk about that.

Like I said this guy goes to great lengths to keep you out. Depending on how you enter his house he'll start setting up security measures to stop you. Bear Traps, security alarms, etc.

Well like any normal thief I would go through the window....except...I can't. No matter how I tried I couldn't get in through the window. I got really pissed about this cause this is how I wanted to get in. Why would I be an idiot and go through the front door? Well the game is forcing me through the front door which every time I do. I'm caught. -_-  Well I have to say his AI is better than MGS guards. He'll react to sounds. Even knows his house well enough to catch you. I guess what's supposed to be scary is that annoyingly loud music that plays when he spots you.

Probably what I hate the most is the Bear Traps. Once you're caught in one. You're stuck. Doesn't matter where. You're stuck. So you might as well just wait for him to strangle you. Although there were times I was caught in one and our favorite neighbor just left me there to rot. There was even one where he threw one at me in my own house. I got caught in it and couldn't move. Then he just kept throwing more bear traps at me along with tomatoes.  -_-  Needless to say I had to quit the game to get out of this situation.

What turned me off was how I couldn't go through any of the windows to sneak into this guy's house. There's no crouch command either. Not even a sneak command. So I move I'm making noise as loud as possible. I was forced to go through the front door....even worse when he locked the door I had to figure out a way to get him to come out of that door. Needless to say none of this worked. Just pissed him off.

Honestly looking at this game. It would be better as some sort of multiplayer. Where you and a friend play one being the neighbor and the other being the guy trying to break in. I took note of the AI patterns. If I wasn't hindered by stupid things like a messed up crosshair. Or unable to enter through a window. I would breeze past this guy.

So Apparently Our Neighbor can easily Spam 623+M (Rocket Raccoon's Bear Trap)

Random Thought

I got to the point that I was just frustrated and didn't want to play anymore. It did give me a reminder of a news article I came across not too long ago. 2 Would be thieves broke into a house only to be easily taken down by a 6'2 hairy man. The house the failed thieves broke into was a notorious sex offender. He captured the 2 and for 5 days they were his sex slaves. Until a neighbor heard a scream and called the cops. The cops got there and noted that the thieves were broken.

Yeah I rather not be breaking into anyone's house regardless of who it is. Who knows that's what this guy would probably do to me.

Overall

So my thoughts on this game? Forgettable. I know I played the Pre-Alpha. But from that and adding along the playthroughs I've seen. I'm not interested in this game. Another thing that bothers me about this game is that it's already getting theories made up about it. Just like Five Nights At Freddy's did. And they're all ridiculous. It's something about that where I'm just bothered by it. I feel like I would play this game once then quit never to play it or even think about it again. Maybe if it was multiplayer where you or your friend try to play hide n seek with each other or the AI. I would like it a lot more. But right now. This game feels like a waste of my time.

I Don't Think I Can Put Up With This Anymore - Update Nov 2016

Problems mount from left and right for me. I'm stuck. My family sees me as a hopeless idiot. My Youtube hasn't made any real progress. Health Insurance, mental and physical health. Etc. None of it is good. Add icing on the cake that this is the absolute worst time of the year for me.

I guess I'm just destined for failure. I bend over backwards to meet the needs of people that are never satisfied. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm absolutely lost as to what to do. I only hide it so that no one tries to take over and utterly control my life.  All the while fighting off suicidal and violent urges.

I don't know what my viewers want, they don't talk. Outside a very select few. None of them talk. Unless I say something they don't like. What am I supposed to do?

I'm still battling with myself. Truth be told I grew to hate people. I never want to be around them. Too many things have happened to me to make this way. Constantly battling haunting memories of my past. I wish I had gone insane. At least then I could be happy. I try not to blame other people for my issues. But its not very successful.

I can't put up with this. I'm at my breaking point. Why am I still on Youtube? Why am I still here? I should just wipe the slate clean. Delete my accounts and start a new life. I'm tired. No one has faith in me. I want to die.
