Cocky Super Vegito - DBZ Dokkan Battle (Global)

I guess this is where in terms of mobile games you finally start to get some leeway into beating these ridiculous Event Quest. I was able to beat the Goku Black quest thanks to the silly fact that SSJ4's are COMPLETELY BROKEN!  Thanks to that I was able to awaken my Goku Black so now he fills the requirement to complete this quest.

Well it's not really a requirement it's more of a do you want to have a bad time? In order to inflict significant damage on Super Vegito (and possibly Vegito) you need the link skill called "Fierce Battle" which at first just seems like any old skill. But this "disables" Vegito and Super Vegito from doing insane damage and lets you actually hurt them.

Well in my roster I only have 4 characters (soon to be 6) with Fierce Battle.

  • Blazing Clash Paikuhan (STR) - Yeah this isn't an option to take to this fight cause Super Vegito is AGL type.
  • Burning to the Last Super Saiyan Goku (Angel) (Super Kaioken) (PHY)
  • Dark Menace Goku Black (PHY)
  • Ultimate Power Surge Ultimate Gohan (INT)
Well sorting through my team. Best to take what I can rely on. Goku Black and Angel Super Kaioken Goku (that's a mouthful). One it's Physical typing so I can deal with INT Vegito phase easily.

Team

Leader: Dark Menace Goku Black
Shadow Dragon's Master Syn Shenron
Inception of Evil SS Goten Possessed (GT)
Intimidating Body Exchange Ginyu (Goku)
Wrath-Bred Evil Buu (Pure-Evil)
Burning to the Last Super Saiyan Goku (Angel) (Super Kaioken)

Syn Shenron can lower def by 20% and raise attack by 60%. Doesn't matter since he's not Dokkan Awakened to have Fierce battle link yet. -_- His super also lower's enemy defense.

Possessed Goten adds +3 Ki to PHY type so paired with Syn should ensure Super attack.

Buu lowers attack by 10%. So helps me survive when I'm not going ham with Fierce Battle

Ginyu Goku changes TEQ Ki to Rainbow Ki so I don't have a huge hassle in giving character's Ki.

Super Kaioken Goku has ATK +100% and Ki +3. But he has "Fierce Battle" so he's gonna be a damage dealer. Problem is his super cost me 7% of my HP.

Goku Black is broken especially on Global. Giving Extreme types Ki+3 and Attack +3000 for Ki Sphere obtained.

Friend Leader

I need a friend Leader who also had the "Fierce Battle" Link. Thankfully there's a lot of ppl that are currently using Vegito Blue and have Dokkan Awakened him.

Vegito Blue (PHY)

So obviously my choices in friend leader is Vegito Blue who doesn't entirely benefit my team cause of Super Typing. But it works since Super Kaioken Goku is Super Type. And I'm only looking for Fierce Battle Link anyway. However this has me heavily relying on the Friend Vegito Blue for damage. Which thankfully he's no slouch in that department with the counter ability and some friends have built him with Crits.

Goku Black

The obviously better Friend Leader. No counter attack but the buffs are just plain better and easier to work with on my team. Especially with Max Super Attack.

???? I don't know others that would have the Fierce Battle Link I need.

Phase 1 - Goku (STR) and Vegeta (INT)

Well Goku is obviously a problem. Being a Strength type against my Physical type. But not too big a threat.

Phase 2 - Vegito (INT)

Vegito is rather cake walk thanks to typing again.

Phase 3 - Super Vegito (AGL)

Where things can get unfun. I have to rely in my Fierce Battle Link which only 3 characters have. The others are on defense and basically tickle Super Vegito. In otherwords, it's pretty much his Fight with Super Buu.  And Super Vegito is willing to abuse his sword. I have to keep my HP up at this point since he can pretty much end me in one go when my main damage dealers aren't up.

Overall

You know this is one of those things I hate about most games. Where you need a certain something before you can take said quest on and beat it. This is different from typical game logic like, "Oh you're not strong enough" or "You lack this thing you can easily obtain. Go back and get it first."  The general requirement for this quest (Which is multiple characters that have the Fierce Battle Link) is not easily obtained.

To get Fierce Battle Link you need to Dokkan Awaken certain Specific characters. So you need to do other events first before you do this one. You could go in without that link but, good luck doing this without Dragon Stones then. To make things worse depending on the character you're trying to awaken. Expect to repeat this same quest 5 times minimum. That's a lot of farming...and honestly if my viewers didn't enjoy this and if I didn't have some interest in this game. I would say screw it. It's insanely time consuming and I consider the progress vs time to be minimal. You Dokkan Awaken a character but you're still not done. You need to max that Super attack. But you're still not done, you need to max that character's potential. Still not done. Need a good team. So much to do and a lot of things aren't easily done in this game unless you throw money at it.

Done ranting back to the grind.

Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories - Axel 1 (KH1.5 HD Remix)

I really need to start doing these again. Just time gets away from me with other things. So yeah first off. Standard mode. For my sanity cause this honestly is a rather boring game. I haven't even played this version before. I played the GBA version.

From what a lot of ppl say about this game. It's just get a ton of sleights and spam Triangle all day. I haven't really seen that yet. I'm playing this more or less how I played the GBA version. Defensively or to be more accurate, opportunist. Wait on the bosses or at least the guys with decks to whip out attacks counter them at my leisure. Then while they're on recharge go all in. Eventually they just flat out run out of cards. Wish deck points weren't so bad though. I wonder what the max is. Since I used to just fill my deck with Cloud and Simba cards. I remember those being OP. Then getting Neo Shadow card was icing on the cake with the Bio effect.

We'll see. As I'm writing this, I believe I'm at the point where Vexen reveals the master plan and dies for it. So not a whole lot left to go.

Fallen Legion - RPG with Promise

Just to note. I was sent this game by "YummyYummyTummy studios". They told me that they thought I would interested in this game and sent me a copy.

Fallen Legion

This game has 2 different sides to it. The PS4 version is called "Fallen Legion: Sins of an Empire". The PSVita version is called "Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion".

Disclaimer/Note

I was sent the PS4 version....Now I don't exactly have a PS4. My sister does. I don't even have an HD Recorder. So how did I play this? Well like I said my sister has a PS4 so while she's gone I start up her PS4 and get to playing. She barely plays it anyway, She's mostly on Spotify. Rarely she'll play Tekken 7 or MKX.  She's also never really home during the day. So opportunity.

I mentioned that I don't have an HD Recorder. By that I mean I don't have a capture care that uses HDMI. Those are expensive. At least for me. I tried to get one but it didn't work so I had to send it back. -_-.  So how am I recording this? Well let me just say it's in probably the 2nd worst option available to me. Now I could just Stream this to TwitchTV. But Fallen Legion has an embargo on it. When an embargo is placed on a game, it means that they don't want you uploading there content to Youtube, Twitch, or other such places until they say so. I can't upload any content on this game till July 17th and 18th.  Wow. The game(s) doesn't release till the 25th in the EU. I can only release content on this game up to a certain point until the 18th.

But I still haven't told you how I am recording this.  PS4 has the ability to stream most of it's games to other platforms like PC in particular. So I start up PS4 remote play on my PC. Bring up my screen recorder. And there I go. The quality isn't that great but it's acceptable. I did this with a few other games last month you may have saw those. The problem I constantly worry about is the signal dropping. Cause I require an internet connection to stream this and AT&T hasn't exactly cooperated with me on this in the past few weeks.  Hope that clears up a few things.

Story

So Fallen Legion: Sins of an Empire. You start out as Octavia, who's on the run from a bunch of rebels. You fight your way through them all and I think Octavia is a Valkyrie from Valkyrie Profile. She chills in the back row while other soldiers do the work. She's not useless either. She casts magic. You fight through a few waves of enemies then beat a boss. And then you let her escape.

You're introduced to the 2nd main character during this. A Grimoire. It doesn't have a name. Just Grimoire. I'm used to my talking books having names. But this part of the game is only the intro. Octavia then decides to recall the events that led up to this battle in the first place.

So like your typical war you're having a conversation with your general. Legatus Landuer. He's described as battle crazed but is a great general. Then you're interrupted to be told Octavia's dad is dead and she's the new Emperor....wait shouldn't it be Empress? You're sent his belongings and told you should head back to the capitol immediately before the rest of the countries find out they have no king. Yeah I can see that happening. I mean this is logic that applies even to today. If a world leader dies, that country is in chaos until someone else takes there place. It's pretty much ripe for the taking by anybody until someone takes the dead guy's job.

A Talking Book

Anyway you're introduced to the Grimoire. Who says that he's the reason why your kingdom is still standing in the first place. I should let you know the state of the world first. During scene transitions Octavia mentions how screwed up her Country is right now. The Council of Princes constantly argue with each other and can't come to a consensus about anything. The economy sucks. Which leads to famine, disease, and eventually rebellion. There's a lot of issues going on which is why there's war. Now the Grimoire says that he led your father to rule the country and you should do exactly as he says or let the kingdom fall to ruin. So you do as the book says. Kinda.  Well the Grimoire proves it's worth. With it's power you can summon warriors to fight for you. And you need them. Also you can cast magic.

The only games I can think of that had some sort of wise, talking inanimate object are Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny and Nier. Except they had proper names. This book here isn't exactly selling himself so well since he doesn't have a name. Maybe he does and hasn't revealed it yet.  Later on the Grimoire talks about how it's missing a few pages cause someone ripped them out of him. He doesn't know who cause he doesn't have eyes to see that well. But to restore him he must feed. And he must feed on human souls....oh boy.  And to make matters complicated The Grimoire is a picky eater. Could just feed prisoners, POWs, etc to him but nooooo....he wants a specific soul. Well this will be fun.

Issues of the Kingdom

So during your travels you find out all these side plots to the story. Or really they're issues that your kingdom is currently going through.  One of the Princes is scheming to raise property taxes, which threatens to evict many commoners. Another country is scheming to get rid of you. There's signs of rebellion going on over issues like Bread. Yeah there's a lot of things to deal with here. Being a ruler of country is not easy. Well...not easy for some people.

Battle System

First I'll say that the world map is pretty much like that of Final Fantasy Tactics. You walk to various areas and either have battles or visit the towns.

The battle system reminds me a lot of games like Valkyrie Profile 2, Ar Tonelico 2, and Cross Edge. You have your party of 4 heroes. There's you which your job is casting spells when you have the chance. Then you got 3 other characters that do the main attacking. Right now I have a basic starter pack of characters.

Tank

DPS

Support

You control them with there corresponding buttons. With correct timing you can execute combos and various effects. However this isn't turn based. There's no you attack first then your enemy attacks. During the time you're attacking the enemy is attacking too. So you have to be on your toes to guard attacks. If you take damage your combo breaks. If you take too long a break your combo chain ends.  So you'll have to properly guard to defeat your enemy.

Your soldiers are also fragile. Despite having the role of a Tank. Any of guys and drop easily. If you're just mashing buttons eventually or really very soon your front line will die. So guarding properly is very important as well as executing combos. But I worry more about guarding. With a well timed guard you break your enemies' attacks and even reflect projectiles.

So where does that leave Octavia's role? Well she's the mage. More a white mage than anything. She has a healing spell which I use a lot. An attack spell. And a revive spell. Her spells recharge based on the damage your front line inflicts.

But what if your front line dies? Well should you be thrown into that situation you'll enter what's called Desperation mode. Or really button mash mode. You need to revive someone quickly. Or die. So you can mash Triangle to recharge a spell and hopefully revive your dudes.

Lead Your Country Properly

Now that sounds too simple of a battle system? It's rather not. There's another aspect to take care of during battle. Leading your kingdom. You have a morale meter. The morale meter affects how much HP your front line recovers, how hard the enemy hits and other special effects. Well...you change this by leading your kingdom.

From time to time between fights your given notifications as to crap that's going on in your kingdom. Usually if it was me I would just go, "I'LL DEAL WITH IT LATER! I'M BUSY!"  But you can't do that. AND YOU SHOULDN'T DO THAT! Your Kingdom needs you. So you're given options as to how to deal with the issue. Depending on what you choose will give buffs and debuffs to your party and affect the morale of your country. I'm told that these choices have an impact on the story. So honestly I'm scared to death every time I make a choice. I could end up on a bad ending route and not know it. These scare me when I don't have a strategy guide to reference. I could be screwing myself and not know it. But choices gotta be made.

Preparing for Battle

Here's where the game is extremely simple. The world map. You can change your equipment which is a bunch of jewels that have various passive effects. Study passive effects that may happen during battle. And study your units. You don't really need to do anything here. Just equip save your game and move on.

Kneel Down Before Me!

This is something I thought would never come back. But Break Mode from Valkyrie Profile 2 makes a return. If you kick so much ass that your enemy is stunned. You'll enter Break Mode. This allows you to combo with limitations for a short period of time. You won't get interrupted and can just go ham. This is pretty much key to winning boss fights. When I saw this I just wanted to channel Lezard Valeth and yell out "Kneel Down Before Me!"

Music, Sound, Voice

The music is great. When I'm paying attention to it. I don't have any complaints at all about the music. In fact I wish there was more of it. I don't find myself paying too much attention to it cause I'm too busy worrying about combat. But that's a good thing sometimes. I don't want to focus on the music then die from distraction sometimes you know. Also this is a good thing since the music doesn't put me to sleep. I've had games where I'm just bored to sleep and fall asleep mid-battle. Those aren't pretty.

Voice acting is great when it's given. I wish there was more of it. There's quite a bit of dialogue but voice acting only happens like it's a handheld game.

Graphics

The artwork is great. I like the monsters and animations are clearly defined when actions are taken. None of the characters totally stand out but I do appreciate the sprite animations of the enemies. Even the background designs look great. I guess if I was to complain or really be nitpicky. It's that this is PS4. And it looks like Vita graphics. But that's because there's another version of this game on the Vita. And also this isn't one of those AAA titles. They didn't blow there budget on graphics everything's evened out. I'm reminded of Dragon's Crown in terms of graphics.

Overall

What I played so far which is pretty much up to the embargo date is enjoyable. Fallen Legion has a nice level of difficulty that isn't way too hard but is willing to not forgive you for making mistakes (and by mistakes I mean more than 1). You're given a chance to learn through combat which is something compared to a lot of other RPG/JRPG games that pretty much either hold your hand the whole way or kill you and make you start over for making one mistake. I definitely want to play this a lot more. And will....just wish I had a PS4 of my own and an HD Capture card.

A Mellow and Dull July Start - Update July 2nd, 2017

Jumping straight to business.

Life

You know I'm starting to hate kids. At least this one I always keep seeing. He's always going on and on about how I don't make any real money. And apparently I need things like my own house and a car to have status. There's one thing I like but also loathe from kids is that they have absolutely no tact. Seriously it's nice that they can say things that can generally be taken seriously (assuming they're wise and honest) but they really can't read a situation and say the right thing at the absolutely wrong time.

My mom and sister have been fighting. But it's weird. No not weird it's frustrating on my mind that they fight like there about kill each other in there sleep then the next day, it's as if nothing happens. It's apparently a woman thing from what I've been told by many. Either way it's stressful to put up with. I don't have many choices I can make since I'm pretty much outvoted by the other 2. Doesn't help that I'm a male living with 2 females. It's life I suppose. I really shouldn't say that but it's what I put up with.

I'm trying to save up for driving lessons. Considering my own situation. Asking friends and family to learn driving is generally not an option. My family is pretty much not home for the most part and friends are too busy to offer help. So after looking things up. I'll need A LOT of money to afford driving lessons. Man that's a rather lucrative business. The prices are not cheap. It's like buying 1 of every current gen console available out right now. So yeah...this'll be a long way to afford such a thing even just 2 hours is costly.

Youtube

Atlus retracts there copyright strike.
After managing to contact them and talking it over. Atlus retracted there copyright strike against me. It turned out to be a mistake on there part. They don't know what went wrong. Part of me thinks it was a false copyright takedown. Since the address that issued it was Atlus@copyright-notice.com  Well if you remove the Atlus@ part and go to the domain copyright-notice.com. You get a website that seems to have been made in 2016. It talks about copyright and has a bunch of links on the side. One to a pdf. But it doesn't make sense. So it's very likely that it's fake.

I talked to customer service in there e-mails and got the strike retracted. About 2 weeks later there PR service contacted me about the same thing. If you're having issues with Atlus best to contact Atlus's legit emails. The ones listed on there website. Not the e-mail noted in Youtube Copyright Strike notice.

On a side note I looked back at the other copyright strike I received. The one on my Ragnarok Odyssey ACE video. Yeah that was a fake copyright takedown. Digging about the e-mail that issued the takedown used a company's name that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO Ragnarok Odyssey ACE. They made a Ragnarok game but not the franchise that's well known. So definitely some BS going on there. I managed to get that strike removed too. So take that you no lifers.

Sister Got a PS4

Well not too relevant in news. But I figured it's something to mention. I posted 2 or 3 videos of PS4 related gameplay. Just demos really. I found I could record PS4 gameplay using screen capture software. First was that I stream the PS4 to my PC. Then use my screen capture software to well capture the footage. Rest is pray that the connection doesn't drop. Cause it's a wireless connection.

If opportunity came about I would like to look into twitch streaming PS4 games. But that might not be possible. I would have to move the PS4 out of my sister's room. Try to make a wired connection for streaming. Then move the PS4 back to my sister's room. It's all a hassle. One where I would be better off getting a PS4 myself...if I ever had the money which I don't.

Side note there's not really much on the PS4 at least on the PSN store. It must all be buried. Or the amount of games I'm interested in amounts to very little on these current gen consoles.

Sharon Rogers BS

Addressing the comments I got from a Marvel Future Fight video about me supposedly dissing Sharon Rogers. I don't care for the character. I think she's a waste of time, for me. I raised her rating up to 6 star mastery. Pouring my time and resources into that character and she still can't do what everyone's saying she can. And when that came up the comments are:

"No you aren't using her right."
"You need to do this."
"You need to learn the meta."

I feel the gauntlet has been thrown down on this. So I did some research. Guess what. The people that claim Sharon Rogers is OP, top-tier, or god. The only reason for that is cause they dropped tons of time and/or cash on her. The whales made her good or a better way to put it. THEY PAID TO WIN! I did the research. I found a guide after digging for awhile. Turns out I am doing the proper combo. Everything I have on her is set. But what isn't mentioned by Sharon Rogers worshippers is that she is only great if you can fulfill a long list of requirements first.  I know this cause my Rocket Raccoon, a character that's been rated bottom tier in the game. Is killing 70% of the Sharon Rogers I meet in the games PvP without breaking a sweat. Why? cause I put the same amount of effort into that character as some of these so-called other Sharon Rogers users did.

Know what all this tells me. That the tier list is complete nonsense. The so-called meta to the game doesn't even matter. Every character is capable of doing these amazing feats you see some random guy on Youtube do as long as you put in the work. I've only been playing the game for 6 months and I'm further than most players on the game. The game's been out for over 2 years and yet there's still some long time veterans that haven't even finished the main story mode. I'm on the 2nd extra story mode. But enough of that. Point of a game is to have fun. Not learn a meta to a game. This game doesn't even have live worldwide tournaments. It's not League of Legends. You can leave all that ESports crap at the door if you're gonna talk to me about meta (AND ON A MOBILE GAME OF ALL THINGS).

Persona 4 Golden - Are You Guys That Gullible?

So YEARS AGO I made a joke video on Person 4: Golden's Valentine's day event. Making it appear as a game over. Now for whatever reason...people are thinking it's real. Huh?

The game's been out for years. I'm pretty sure most of the world has seen this event. Why would anyone think it's an actual game over is beyond me. But to those that fooled themselves. No it doesn't happen. You pass out for the day recovering from an upset stomach then the game proceeds on as normal.

Twitch Streaming

I tried streaming on Twitch. Don't think it's very successful. I look at it and think that it's a waste of time. I know I could just play one of those popular games. But it's a huge money sink with money I DON'T HAVE. And a lot of them are games I just don't like.  I remember reading an article saying I should fake it. No thank you. Faking it will just lead to trouble.

Games

BUCK

Man I keep seeing this game get updates and I want it more. I liked the demo I played. And would just feel great to play something different. But of course no money to play and I'm stuck with other games.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix

You know my excitement for this pretty much is next to 0 now. KH1 Final Mix just annoys me. New abilities I didn't need and I had to have a lapse of sanity to pick Final Mix Proud as that feels like Critical Mode.  I'm don't mind hard games but really just feels like I'm playing a game of how much of a dick can the developers be. I just feel like speeding through this getting to work on Chain of Memories and never coming back to this game.

Other games

Not much else to mention. I want to try and get back on track with uploading. It's more that I haven't been motivated as much to play games like I used to. Life getting in the way and all that. I should cutoff mobile games. possibly save more time for other games. It's not like I don't have games to play.

That's it. not much else to say. So later then.
